Customer Review: Make nice creamy even color thin cookie at no time!

I love this VillaWare V3900 Krumkake Baker. I bought it on sale for less than $30 at Amazon in April, the best price I could find by the time of purchase.
I'd been looked for product to make sweet egg rolls, an Asian dessert(popular in HK, Japan, Taiwan, etc.) with very thin, crisp, and crunchy texture, and then came across this Krumkake baker. Since the price was good, I bought it for a try.
So far I made 3 different recipes since mid April; one from recipe comes with the product; one from a Taiwanese friend, and one from Vietnamese website; they use different flour: all purpose, cake flour, and rice flour. They all came out nicely with different flavors and texture. I either leave them flat or roll them like cigars(I used chopsticks to roll the cookies), I also used the roller came with the product, but need lots of practice on that.
To make them very thin, 3 tricks I made:
* make thinner batter
* less batter
* squeeze the handles hard
All the thin cookies came out nice creamy even color, if I do it right. Make sure read the instruction carefully, and only put batter after the light goes off (for the right temperature); otherwise the cookies will be overbaked.
It's a good idea to use the roller comes with the product to make ice cream cone, but I think the roller is too long and narrow for making a 5" cookie a cone can really hold ice cream; well, it's very minor thing, doesn't affect the product performance. Now I'm looking for a shorter wider cone roller for good for 5" cookies.
While rearching for the product, I felt amazed that different cultures came up something similar for us to enjoy.
In terms of durability, I will update this review next year.
