My wife loves waffles, so I did some research and ordered this one based on other reviews. As most have mentioned, this is a very good waffler. We like the fact that the plates are removable & reversable -- my wife likes the standard thin "american style" waffles, whereas I prefer the belgian style. This does both well. We're still working on getting just the right waffle mix, we tried one that was high fiber (my wife's idea btw) which although okay were fairly heavy. For me, for easy prep & good taste, standard Bisquick has been best.
